There is a wonderful phrase of wisdom that
states: "The Sorcerer manipulates and the
Healer facilitates."
This is a very important understanding in
this age of change where people are looking
for spiritual guidance not necessarily found
in their traditional fundamental teachings.
People who are looking to explore new ways
to grow spiritually are very much like new
lambs, looking for their shepherd not
knowing how to do this safely in a world of
wolves. How can people tell the difference
between the Sorcerer wolf, and the Shepherd
healer?
Since we live in a plan of free will, the
same information is available to the
Sorcerer and the Healer. Both have access to
the same laws of the universe. The
difference is in the intention. A sorcerer
will say: I am the only one who can help
you; You must always come to me only; I know
more than you what is best for you. The
Healer will say: You can learn how to do
this; You have the freedom to choose; You
will be able to do this on your own. A
Sorcerer will make a person feel weak and
dependant, and a Healer will teach a person
how to be empowered and independent.
Another important signal to look for is in
the glow of the leader. If there is a warm
glow like the sun, you are seeing a person
who is walking in service to humanity. If
you see a cool glow, that looks grey,
similar to the shine of the moon, you are
seeing a powerful person in service to their
own ego.
If you are a lamb and discover that the
person you thought was a shepherd is actually
a wolf, bless them as you walk away, for
they taught you many lessons of discernment
for the future.
